FAQs

Do I need a diagnosis or crisis to begin therapy?

Not at all. You’re welcome exactly as you are, even if you’re just curious or feeling a bit off.

What is EMDR, and how do I know if it’s right for me?

EMDR is a structured therapy that helps the brain process difficult memories and beliefs. I’ll explain the process and we’ll decide together if it’s a good fit. More info here.

Do you accept insurance?

I am out-of-network but can provide a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement with your insurance. I’m happy to walk you through how that works. I hope to be in-network with some insurance companies soon.

How long and how often are sessions?

Sessions are about 55 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly therapy, but we’ll tailor the schedule to your needs.
